I find it hard to go from 100 to 0. So one of my "wind-down" jobs is to upload some recent SoW. This one - about 40 short lessons (40 mins) on Much Ado for Year 7: overview, assessment, display materials, powerpoints - much of it delivered remotely. dropbox.com/sh/ibe6an4vslr…

Thinking a lot about participation at the moment. This from @mrbartonmaths is super: tipsforteachers.co.uk/participation-… I love the prompt question (see first image). I designed these examples/non-examples for use in a CPD session.

I like line numbers for the way it helps me guide or prompt students with PRECISION on the spot. Some kids don't need them. Some will be fine if you say para 1 (or between lines 1-5)etc But for some it is SO much better to say: "Look on line 20" instead of vague pointing!
These are my top tops for making texts accessible. *1.5- double lined spaced *line numbers *Gloss the vocab immediately above the target word *Add image if easier than words (e.g pikes!) No 3 also means you can easily read both target & explainer word when reading to class.

I’m sorry but this is a fucking GENIUS bit of marketing from Curry’s.
OK. Stationery loving teachers. Since the demise of Paperchase😭, I'm struggling to find a replacement for these LARGE scrapbooks that also had pouches and little envelopes etc. Any ideas?
