We identified a critical mechanism linking "fat" in microglia to impaired amyloid-beta (Aβ) clearance in Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Lowering "fat" (lipid droplets) by degrading DGAT2 enzyme restores microglial function, lowers Aβ plaques & enhances neuronal health. @ImmunityCP
