Every time the CBC writes about me, I receive a torrent of online abuse for several days. It only happens with the CBC. Which says a lot more about the CBC than it says about me. (And no, I don’t need sympathy. I am totally immune to online mobs.)

The worst thing about becoming rich (500M+) is that there’s nothing to buy. You invest to increase your money, but that’s not buying things. 20 cars, 10 houses, yacht, jet, 15 diamond watches. Done. Then you’re left with PILES OF MONEY and nothing at all to buy besides steak.
My latest: In a recent BC Supreme Court ruling, an RCMP officer who sexually groomed his teenage neighbour in the 1970s was ordered to pay $817k to her. She’s now in her 60s, and spent years addicted to alcohol. Curious to hear what everyone thinks about this type of ruling.
