Geeky developer, I love talking about tech/product/tv/football and anything in between 😬. Working at @Intercom on @fin_ai! Could travel for a living!
Excellent idea, love absolutely everything around the branding here! 🍻
One of the best parts of Stripe is working with the world's most interesting businesses. Taking advantage of this, we're launching a podcast where we host founders and leaders for a cheeky pint in our hastily-constructed office pub. Coming soon: episodes with @gdb, Meta’s Susan…
.@intercom is using the Realtime API to power Fin Voice, their AI Agent for phone support. The new model follows call scripts better, executes function calls more consistently, and hallucinates less, helping provide human-quality AI support, 24/7.
I wish we deviate from the "rules" at times. Interviewing a player right after such a heartbreaking final, when she's clearly devastated, just feels deeply wrong. #Wimbledon
I learned a ton from this. Rare to see companies building "wrappers" this diligent about measuring impact. fin.ai/research/a-cau…
Such a fun read!
New Anthropic Research: Project Vend. We had Claude run a small shop in our office lunchroom. Here’s how it went.
People like this really give me the ick. Sure, call it overvalued if you want, but waving off their tech as easily vibe coded at a hackathon is nonsense. All critique, zero building.
Anything is better than buying perplexity but perplexity's "tech" is what they need, one can vibe code it during a hackathon. All the pieces are easily available. As I said, it's the cheapest of the wrappers around an LLM and a white-label search engine one could imagine.
o3-pro reminds me of GPT 4.5. I don't get the big deal. It takes so long with the outputs being incorrect, that its better to use o3 to have a faster feedback loop, to get to the final desired outcome.
I'm so excited by this trend! Have seen PRs fly from Design and PM - no long feedback loops, just people spotting issues and fixing them. Previously, a designer might notice a small UI detail, raise it, get told to file it on GitHub, and then it would just sit in the backlog,…
There's some magic happening in the @intercom design org right now 👀 I kid you not I took more notes from tomorrow's episode with @thoughtwax than any Dive Club convo ever... Think you're gonna like this one ✌️
A teammate checks in with Claude 3x a day on GitHub issues - just like you would with a junior engineer. He reviews progress, gives feedback, and lets Claude handle coding tasks in the background while he focuses elsewhere. I find this fascinating, a sign of the inevitable future

Continuing on the momentum @eoghan shared earlier this week - our whole R&D org are taking on a goal to 2x our productivity through mastery of the wonderful new tools and capabilities AI gives us builders. Buckle up! fin.ai/ideas/2x/
The next London AI Tinkerers event is on Wednesday June 25th! Each month we bring together 100 of the top builders including the founders of top YC startups, engineers from leading scale-ups (Synthesia, Wise, Revolut) and the best AI labs (DeepMind, Anthropic, OpenAI, and…
Intercom may be the most underhyped AI company. Customer support is transforming and their AI agent @Fin_ai is the best product on the market. I speculate Fin’s live ARR is the largest of the players, on top of a multi hundred million $ existing business. @eoghan returned to…
This is a story about how we rebooted a 15 year old decelerating business to be on course to be the fastest growing large software company in the world in four quarters from today… :) The Q1 Intercom board meeting starts in one hour. Q1 FY26 was the largest quarter by net new…
i was at an event this week and 3 different people told me how good their experience of using @Fin_ai was.
OpenAI is experiencing an outage since morning, but @Fin_ai is running smoothly! We use OpenAI for some components but have robust fallbacks in place for exactly this scenario. When you choose @intercom , you get this battle-tested reliability built in.
It’s hard to see them as victims when the risk was clear before a $3B acquisition by a direct competitor. Let’s be real, if the roles were reversed, OpenAI would’ve done the same.
Yes, Anthropic completely cut our Claude 3.x and Claude 4 capacity. I've been getting a lot of questions at @aiDotEngineer today so wanted to answer the common things I’ve been hearing… 1️⃣ Backstory We had less than 5 days notice and no choice in the matter. We strongly…
Attention to detail in game development is everything, simply stunning. Super excited to play The Witcher 4 but I suspect its a long wait, considering the launch debacle with Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red won't rush this. youtube.com/watch?v=Nthv4x…
Only took 2 years of working on Fin at @Intercom to finally update my bio. After 5k+ customers and 25M+ resolutions, it’s about time @fin_ai got its own Twitter account!
