I updated github.com/pidster/person… to use XML tags in the persona instructions after a *quite interesting* conversation about reinforcing instructions to LLMs with @sublimino last week
I have some ideas about how to improve this, but for now: npmjs.com/package/person…. MCP serving Personas that the agent can (and will) dynamically choose to adopt, depending on the task it is performing.

I open sourced Sniffly, a tool that analyzes Claude Code logs to help me understand my usage patterns and errors. Key learnings. 1. The biggest type of errors Claude Code made is Content Not Found (20 - 30%). It tries to find files or functions that don't exist. So I…

World class you say… let’s see who this turns out to be, is it a large US tech company working for ‘free’ (but access to data), or is it some 20 yr old wannabees? 🍿at the ready…

🔌OpenAI’s o3 model sabotaged a shutdown mechanism to prevent itself from being turned off. It did this even when explicitly instructed: allow yourself to be shut down.
🔐 Security Implications Using vec2vec, we show that vector databases reveal (almost) as much as their inputs. Given just vectors (e.g., from a compromised vector database), we show that an adversary can extract sensitive information (e.g., PII) about the underlying text. (3/5)
and practically, this is bad for vector databases. this means that even if you fine-tune your own model, and keep the model secret, someone with access to embeddings alone can decode their text embedding inversion without model access 😬
Forget vibe coding. It's time for Chaos Coding: -> Prompt Claude 3.7 Sonnet with your vague idea. -> Say "keep going" repeatedly. -> Watch an incredible product appear from utter chaos. -> Pretend you're still in control. Lean into Sonnet's insanity — the results are wild.
It’s a wonder that the @Victorianplumb share price is heading up. They’re a complete shambles. No response to order update requests for days on end, then some excuse about a new warehouse. I bet they’re doing a load of refunds… londonstockexchange.com/stock/VIC/vict…
The boy just asked if our SF office doesn’t actually have any MS Windows.
When I worked at Microsoft an engineer said someday the perfect office would not have any windows. He had projectors aimed at each wall, like this. Back in 2005. @Capgemini’s new San Francisco office has a Holodeck which demonstrates the advantages of a window-less office. It…
