“Stop the windmills” Big beautiful windmills
Trump in Scotland: I say two things to Europe. Stop the windmills. I really mean it. It's so sad. You fly over and you see these windmills all over the place, ruining your beautiful fields and valleys and killing your birds🤡
Haven’t posted on X in a long time but just needed to share some messages from parents. It was good to get reminders of what we do and why we do it. Seeing so many children driven out of schools and not able to manage within the system, just needed to say there’s another way
White people are telling a black woman discussing her lived experience of racism that she is the real racist. That's where we are now.
Academia just recommended a paper on Mathematics education and the future, written nearly 40 years ago!!

Just read this and be shocked Hang on. Shouldn’t EVERY inspection consist of EVERY inspector with experience of that setting. Otherwise it’s just a farce! Hmmm yes, it is!
Ofsted has pledged that from November, 'most' inspections will include at least one inspector with experience of working in the type of setting they are visiting buff.ly/zzHZCmv

Because the OP (Boxer) blocks me, thankfully, I cant respond there so will do so here @hagan_carmel …this geezer Rowe talks such utter 💩 its not even worth responding. Those three bods seem unable to reflect on what goes on around them. This guy exemplifies “non sequitur”.

You can’t build a successful education system around shame, embarrassment, detention & exclusion. You can’t create inclusion for all via a curriculum that only works for some. So as the saying goes “If the child doesn’t learn the way you teach, start teaching the way they learn.”
Whilst I support assisted dying, passing such a law with just a 23 majority seems less than optimal. It does not bode well.
Anyone who dares to criticise Iran for bombing a hospital needs to remember this. Maybe Iran needs to announce they had credible information that the hospital was harbouring Zionist terrorists.

"Forty-four academy trust CEOs have now crossed the £200,000 pay threshold amid wage rises of up to 50 per cent in five years" All public money that should be being spent on educating children & young people schoolsweek.co.uk/rise-in-200k-a…
Really don't think it's talked about enough that England has handed over large parts of our education system--one of society's most important tasks--to a bunch of absolute psychos who seem to despise children & young children
New: Teachers at super-strict academy told to hand out 25 detentions a week - whatever their pupils’ behaviour educationuncovered.co.uk/news/teachers-… Latest developments at Ark Alexandra Academy, in Hastings, East Sussex.
The usual suspects will deride this in an ecstatic orgy of self/peer preening as a vehicle for reaffirmation of gang membership. But any experienced teacher will be all too aware of the truth here. Especially those teaching the disadvantaged.
Know your kids and how they learn best 🙏 #teaching
The man telling us the phone is taking over our brains posts a 20 tweet thread on why we need to stop using our phone. Shouldn’t he have done it in one?🤷🏻♂️
He deleted almost every app from his phone. Then he wrote 4 bestsellers in 9 years. Cal Newport's controversial take: Your phone is making you mediocre. His science-backed system for getting your brain back:
Isn’t it interesting that proponents of the #cogsci cult understand neither cognition nor science.
