Barely a day goes by where Iranian religious or political officials aren’t calling for the death of President Trump. Should the regime outlast the admin, the fate that befell Salman Rushdie may befall Trump, @SGhasseminejad and I argue in @WSJopinion. wsj.com/opinion/iran-i…?
Hamas and Israel were about to reach a ceasefire. Then 24 Western countries called on Israel to implement an immediate and thus unilateral ceasefire. Hamas, welcoming such implicit support, backed away from things it had agreed to. Just another example of the West prolonging the…
The commission has, in the process of defaming Israel, misinterpreted and misapplied international law in a manner that impedes the ability of the United States and its NATO allies to defend themselves against terrorism, argues @ordefk: fdd.org/analysis/2025/…
While the deadliest attack in Argentina’s history happened some three decades ago, the perpetrators- the Islamic Republic of Iran – continues to engage in terrorism not only in the Western Hemisphere but around the globe. The annual resolution marking the bombing of the AMIA…
“U.S. Should Sanction UN's Lame Duck Anti-Israel Commissioners If They Don't Resign Immediately” International law expert Orde Kittrie, 🇺🇸 U.S. State Department’s former lead attorney for public affairs: fdd.org/analysis/2025/… @ordefk @FDD
Pillay & the other commissioners must be required to step down now, not allowed to remain for 3 months and issue final report. If they don't, could be sanctioned as was Albanese. The Commission itself, with its deeply biased mandate, should be ended. 4/4 fdd.org/analysis/2025/…
The Commission continually mischaracterizes international law in ways that impede US & NATO defenses against terrorism. For example, by ignoring Hamas use of human shields, a war crime, and utilizing resultant civilian casualties to falsely accuse Israel of war crimes,…
Even once current commissioners leave, commission will still have multi-million $ budget & large staff implementing a perniciously biased mandate. UN is already seeking replacement commissioners, with no indication that new ones will be less biased. 2/4 fdd.org/analysis/2025/…
Thread: It's time to close the anti-US and anti-Israel Commission of Inquiry. The three commissioners resigned but only effective 3 months from now, buying them time to issue their annual September report to the UN, likely their most egregious yet. 1/4 fdd.org/analysis/2025/…
Washington, @SecRubio need to ensure that snapback is not dangled for extension. The snapback of UN Iran sanctions and those prohibitions represent cornerstones of any future agreement with Iran— or lack thereof.

Iran is out to assassinate Trump. Should Khamenei & his clerics outlast or outlive the Trump administration, the fate that befell Salman Rushdie may befall President Trump. Tehran’s warrant of death will follow him, write @FDD Iran experts @therealBehnamBT @SGhasseminejad
Your solution is the appropriate one and will not come from the UN system. US diplomats must make the push for immediate resignations and dissolution of the commission and its staff. US sanctions and funding cuts are likely essential to these ends.
The US should use its leverage over the UN, which receives 25% of its budget from the U.S., to put an end to both the commissioners’ abuses and the commission itself. The commissioners should be forced to step down immediately, rather than allowed to utilize their lame duck…
