🚨 Postdoc and PhD opportunities!🚨 Come work with us @yale! Are you interested in computational models of mood and behavior? We apply models to large smartphone samples happinessquest.app inc. depression & Parkinson's, many w/ 🧠 brain scans. rutledgelab.org/join
A good time also to re-plug this 3 year postdoc position in my lab - adults, neuropsychiatry, imaging, pharmacology, modelling. Just about two weeks left to apply! Please RT.
📢JOB KLAXON 📢 I'm hiring! 3-year postdoc available in the Prediction and Learning Lab. Job ad here: jobs.cam.ac.uk/job/37842/
I have a fully funded ESRC doctoral studentship available for October 2023 start. The PhD project is interdisciplinary across developmental cognitive science (infant learning) and neuroimaging (high-density fNIRS) co-supervised by @gemmabale 1/4
A bunch of @StokesNeuro's trainees (from many points in time) put together a list of '10 simple rules for a supportive lab environment', inspired by the example he set. This has been a wonderful moment of reflection for me personally, as I start my own lab direct.mit.edu/jocn/article/d…
I hope to recruit a PhD student next Fall as I start my lab at the University of Maryland! Interested in social/affective learning, decision-making, and computational psychiatry? Consider applying, the deadline is in a month (12/1)!
🌟I’ll be advertising a postdoc position shortly, please reach out if you’re interested in applying computational modelling & neuroimaging to understand the origins of worry!🧠
I am looking for PhD students to start in Autumn 2023! I'd love to talk to people who a) are enthusiastic about mental health research, and b) are excited to explore cog neuro methods and techniques. There are several funding options: email for details! cognition-mental-health.github.io/vacancies/
🌟Want to be part of @iesogroup's mission to transform effective & scalable mental healthcare?🌟 A brilliant opportunity to join our Evidence & Impact team as a Senior Clinical Scientist and use your research and analytical expertise to improve lives. apply.workable.com/ieso-careers/j…
I should probably add that perhaps the biggest contribution of this paper is the term "computational factor modelling", so we no longer have to refer to the approach as "you know, that cool thing @clairegillanTCD did in her eLife paper"
New paper in @BiologicalPsyc1 reviewing the work combining computational modelling with transdiagnostic symptom measurement. Absolute pleasure working with @toby_wise and @clairegillanTCD on this (and not only because they did most of the hard work!)
🌟New paper with @olijrobinson & @clairegillanTCD out in @BiologicalPsyc1 We review the literature on transdiagnostic approaches in computational psychiatry and provide suggestions for how we might translate these findings to the clinic biologicalpsychiatryjournal.com/article/S0006-… 👇 Thread 1/n
Thanks to some new funding (pending paperwork) @MSNlab will soon be advertising a 2-year postdoc. Anyone interested in using computational modelling/fMRI/pharmacology to look at motivation/learning/decision-making across the whole lifespan, drop me an email. January 2023 start.
New preprint ! 📢📢 Very happy to share some recent work looking at the holy trinity of transdiagnostic symptom dimensions (anxious-depression, compulsivity and social withdrawal) and how we can optimise their measurement. psyarxiv.com/q83sh Some key points below… 1/n
