✨Happy to share our recent publication in Neurology: Genetics! 🧬We found epilepsies to be more polygenic than cortical morphology. We also identified 32 distinct loci shared between epilepsies and cortical morphology despite absent genetic correlations. neurology.org/doi/10.1212/NX…
🗞️Excited to share our latest preprint on the shared genetics of common epilepsies and general cognitive ability (COG). doi.org/10.1101/2024.0… 🧬We showed almost complete overlap between common epilepsies and COG, and identified 66 distinct loci shared between these phenotypes.
📢 Today we launch the @PGCGenomics Video Textbook! A structured training program in psychiatric genetics, analysis methods and software tools. Open access, do share widely. #WCPG2023 1/n
🚨 New paper alert 🚨 Our investigation of the genetic 🧬overlap between brain white matter diffusion 🧠 and three major psychiatric disorders is now online in @molpsychiatry. Link to paper rdcu.be/dm8zJ 🧵1/7
Delighted to share the latest GWAS from the @PGCgenetics Suicide Working Group, published today in Am J Psych! @MountSinaiPsych @SinaiGenetics @bronfman_inst🧵below with the highlights thanks to our PGC SUI Outreach team @MKoromina & @EmilyDiblasi!
Very excited to share this preprint from the PGC SUI Working Group and the MVP, “Genome-wide association study meta-analysis of suicide attempt in 43,871 cases identifies twelve genome-wide significant loci" Check the 🧵 below @uofu_hmhi @bunsenmercury
