@nycCoRe
Community based housing legal services in Brooklyn & Queens
We are excited to announce Albert Suh as our Interim Executive Director! Albert previously served as our board chair. His experience and expertise with CoRe will be essential to our work to best serve tenants in need throughout our communities.

A&E Real Estate has made my constituents across Jackson Heights suffer in hazardous living conditions. Yesterday, I stood with @nycCoRe and tenants of four different buildings who deserve better from a rental giant that prioritizes profit over the people who live there.
Our Greenpoint Community Advocate Kelly and @SenGonzalezNY’s team will be at the Greenpoint Library (107 Norman Ave) tomorrow from 10AM-1PM. Reps from @nycCoRe will also be there to provide free legal assistance for housing issues.
If you are victim of an emergency, you shouldn’t have to leave. You deserve to go back home, and today we are passing laws to make sure that can happen.
Our housing legal clinic with @nycCoRe is back at 211 Ainslie Street this August! #tenantrights #NYC #brooklyn #northbrooklyn #stnicksalliance #HousingRights #KnowYourRights #LegalClinic #williamsburg

New York is in an affordable housing crisis. Any rent increase is devastating and will force more tenants from their homes. A rent freeze was the only move to help our most vulnerable tenants. We are extremely disappointed in the Rent Guidelines Board's decision.
The Rent Guidelines Board approved at least 3% increases for New York City’s one million rent-stabilized apartments. nyti.ms/46kToVB
