Please continue to monitor the forecast for changes. High rainfall rates can easily lead to flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas such as underpasses. Plan ahead for alternate routes if your normal drive includes flood prone roads. (4/4)
This heavy rain will lead to a flash flood threat across the region. The threat will be highest Thursday into Friday. Heavy rain will likely overwhelm drainage capacity leading to street flooding and some areas of flash flooding. (3/4)
Rainfall forecasts will continue to be refined over the coming days. Currently the forecast calls for 3-6" of rain during the Wed-Sun time frame, but there is potential for much higher amounts, with some locations possibly seeing totals of 8-10" of rain. (2/4)
