Goose, James Goose. Made some open source software you might already be using. Shipping C and cooking Rust with OCaml. Working on @fframes_rust.
Last few weeks of fframes being in open beta. Don’t miss out the best (I am not afraid of this word at all) video generation framework that gives you amazing performance and developer experience out of the box.
🎉 FFrames goes beta 🎉 Already every rust (and not only rust) developer can join our public beta testing and try out video production with @fframes_rust I am thrilled and super excited on how awesome and powerful the project became already and there is much more to come.
Sure thing I can. Here is your first task Conquer the syntax of try_map using only your brain. Once done you are a senior rust programmer

I genuinely can’t see any issue. What’s wrong with this code snippet?
After my recent news, many people have asked me: "Why not Rust?" Here's my answer:
Hot take: srgb is enough. We don’t need more advanced colorspaces, 10 bit depth colors and all the other bs
In one day we got 3 people contributed to the fold-imports.nvim and brought: 1. Support for dart and go 2. 2 bugfixes reported and fixed 3. My brilliant idea of detecting git conflicts and disabled folding was implemeted by majestic me

git diff for a bug fix that was ai generated vs human written both work like a charm

Don’t make camel sad come to @FunOCaml this year in Warsaw, Poland (registration is free)
Did You Know.
There could be no better computer controlling interface than [trackpad] (split keyboard left) {a mug} (split keyboard right) {vertical mouse)
Someone already contributed Go support to the fold-imports.nvim (thanks btw 🫡) but who would doubt it lol

Neovim in the meantime - opens a file - restores a session - updates all the plugins - runs claude code to fix 3 latest bugs from the bug queue - washes the dishes - writes a post phd doc - solves the 3x + 1 problem - setup a trap for you at the exit
Startup time comparison of my text editor Nitro against Notepad++, Sublime Text and VS Code on an almost 10 year old laptop. Nitro even starts a clangd LSP in the background 🤙🏼
zig compiler is slower than rust who made this chart lol? I mean if you exclude llvm maybe but it is not fair
Compiler performance is an underrated metric that completely changes the feel of a language. <2 seconds is the critical threshold that interrupts flow state. Encouraging small, generic functions everywhere (*cough* Rust, Swift) really slows the compiler down.
My morning coffee when I read another post like “The new model \o14-mini-pro-max 4 ultra\ was released, developers and engineers massively adopted it to solve all kinds of problems. Here are 10 wild examples ⬇️”

Guess how many silly jokes and memes I already prepared

One of the chilliest CEOs I’ve ever meet. Dude’s app downloaded >500 millions per month and he is much more grounded than whatever slop vscode fork AI startup C*O you can find And he writes code in Kate. Just fyi
This is creator of VLC media player . He refused tens of millions of dollars just to keep VLC ads-free , meet Jean-Baptiste Kempf.
You can get your flights booked to @FunOCaml (free and open) conference this September in Warsaw, Poland.
don't ask what ocaml can do for you ask yourself: what can I do for ocaml?
You only like light theme if you can’t afford a good display. (Yea I’m willingly qualifying myself as a normie here. Dark theme on a 6k display with a high contrast is the unmatchable)
