This is a very beautiful church building that I’ll be going to next Sunday but kind of in a rougher neighborhood.

God calls everyone to believe in Him and join the fullness of the truth found in the Catholic Church. While that does include Palestinian Arabs, it does also include Jewish people.
This showed up on @facebook memories from last year. This is of St. John the Baptist Parish in Wilder Kentucky. Wilder has 3,176 people living there as of the 2020 Census and this parish is on the National Register of Historic Places.

This isn’t the first time that someone intentionally targeted a church. However, it is still a war crime.
I did see what they are doing this for, and they are doing a pancake breakfast this coming weekend after the Sunday Mass times (excluding Saturday evening) to honor the retirement of a permanent deacon who worked at both the parish and the county jail as a deacon.
After being at a different parish for two Sundays (and Saturday evening does count as Sunday), I will be at my home parish the following Sunday and afterwards, the @KofC will have a pancake breakfast after the 8am and 11am Mass times (and there is no way I am up for 8am).

At least in Kentucky, if you are either 65+ years old or on SSDI, you can apply for the value that they tax your property at to be reduced by about $50k, but you have to get the application and the amount that is taxable is still taxed at the same rate.
There is absolutely no rational reason for a 65 year old who owns their home to still be paying property taxes. It's absurd.

I am aware that there is an almost unofficial veneration of @johnmacarthur in some places. However, even with him being influenced by fundamentalist Baptist theology (and not falling far from the tree except for Bible translations), he still is a human being.
This needed to be talked about before today with the issues that can come up.
Not everyone with a mic and a camera should be an “apologist” anyways, but without some structure (and I am not saying that laypeople can’t do evangelization), there will always be issues with what authority do they possess and are they vetted both morally and theologically.
