Asian longhorned ticks have made their way into Michigan. This tick typically targets livestock, but its ability to reproduce without a male can can rapidly result in a large population.
Today, we’re reporting the first detection of Asian longhorned ticks in Michigan, discovered in Berrien County by Calvin University. Animal owners are urged to take measures to keep pets and livestock safe and healthy. Learn more: bit.ly/43FigpA
