Team out at fantastic public events this weekend meeting medical providers and checking levels of cover in Maidstone keeping people safe and preventing overloading of EDs - thankyou to all partners and providers we met.
We remember the crew of the @airambulancekss Kent Air Ambulance who tragically died on service this day near Maidstone in 1998. @MTWnhs
Don’t be alarmed if you see our partners from @SECAmbulance hazardous area response team working at @MTWnhs Maidstone Hospital today. Training is really important to enable skills to be kept up to date.

We regularly meet & talk with medical providers of large public events making sure sufficient cover is provided to avoid transfer to busy Emergency Departments where possible. Thanks to medical providers we met at fab Leeds Castle looking after the audience enjoying the concert.
If you are travelling to @ekhuft #WilliamHarveyHospital the M20 junctions 8-9 and the A20 near Hollingbourne are closed due to a police led incident. Traffic delays are expected. HL

We remember those who were killed and injured during the London Bombings on 7/7. The bravery and compassion of those caught up in the events and our emergency services on that day and for some people every day since is remembered.

Quick trip to the Kent County Show to meet medical providers and review good medical response on site. One of the big draws amongst children was the giant tortoises! Impressed by the “tag a tot” scheme being run by security to help keep children safe if they get lost.
