On 8 March 1967, Patricia and her family’s lives changed forever when Sub-Officer Arthur Chadwick, a firefighter at Derbyshire Fire Station, tragically died in a fire engine crash. His family has been awarded an Elizabeth Emblem in recognition of his service and sacrifice.

Today we're celebrating heroes who have given their lives in the line of duty. The families of 8 Scottish public servants, including paramedic Rodney Moore & primary school teacher Gwen Mayor, have been awarded the Elizabeth Emblem, in recognition of their heroic sacrifices.
