This is exactly the rhetoric that MPs trying to garner favour need to stop with asap as it's dangerous. Gambling harm carries risk, of course, but 100% of heroin users are addicted. The same clearly does not apply, so we need to start with sensible conversations based on fact.

Been critical recently of the wrong approach by MPs and lobbyists but the big corp bookies also have to play the game with things like this if there's ever going to be balance. Over regulation will lead to more black market betting but so will this. Better needed all round.
