Brilliant piece by Mirza. While he talks about Brahmaputra the mightiest river I have ever seen, reminds me of Krishna, gentle but mighty in its own might. Foolish of our policies to attempt to dismember rivers. Rivers will reclaim what’s theirs. It’s time we respect deep time.

An important look at rivers & in particular those rivers shared by multiple players. Those "players" may be at state or international level & their snapshot action can have long-lasting impacts. But rivers will find a way to come back to life even if humans temporarily kill them.
