Don't let them fool you, Democrats are the working class. Daughter of a care aide ✅ Daughter of a carpenter ✅ Niece of a carpenter ✅ Niece of a welder ✅ Niece of a nurse ✅ Public School ✅ 1st job at 14.5/15yrs old sweeping trash off the ground ✅ #Democrats
Governor Ayotte, “protecting” Granite Advantage doesn’t mean slapping a health care tax on the working class while giving handouts to the wealthy. Call it what it is: kicking people off of Medicaid—then taking a victory lap. We see through this. #NHPolitics
This budget: ✅ Invested in our community mental health centers ✅ Strengthened Medicaid ✅ Funded services for those with developmental disabilities to ensure there continues to be no waitlist & more. New Hampshire is keeping our promise to protect our most vulnerable.
Given recent developments, I believe X has proven to be an unsuitable platform for public office holders. I’m planning to make this account dormant until X takes corrective action. Find me on lots of other social media platforms. #NHPolitics theatlantic.com/technology/arc…
Every Republican who promised their constituents they would never cut Medicaid - and broke that promise today - was lying the whole time. They deserve to lose power.
Rep. @RoKhanna: I never want to hear Republicans lecture about fiscal responsibility again. Their budget will take the deficit up to 8% of GDP. It is historically unprecedented. If you care about our grandkids being burdened with debt, then you need to recognize that this bill…
Happy July from Mr. Buttons & Prof. Snaps! They don’t know it yet, but they’re about to get their monthly preventative meds wrapped in cheese. Snack time. 🧀 💊

Always true but especially true today: The only places we’re going to see meaningful progress for the next few years are state and local govts. Every local leader matters.
🚨EXCLUSIVE: Before the vote, I asked Sen. Cory Booker: What do we do if it passes? This is a message that EVERY American needs to hear: “If America’s not breaking your heart right now, you don’t love her enough.” He says: be brokenhearted - but don’t stop fighting. This is a…
This is the biggest issue facing America right now : Under The Big Beautiful Bill the wealthiest 10% would see a $12,000 increase, while the bill would cost the poorest people $1,600 a year, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office. But here's the thing - $1600…
Stunningly, the new Senate budget bill contains a NEW tax on wind & solar power projects. Avoiding the tax depends on positive demonstration that projects dont violate material assistance rules that is next to impossible to demonstrate. Based on my calcs, could raise taxes on…
At a moment of rapid demand growth and a growing electricity affordability crisis, the Republican's One Big Horrible Bill will RAISE TAXES on the only new sources of electricity we are able to rapidly add to the US grid in four different ways.

Can’t wait for a future Democrat president to make ample use of all these powers SCOTUS has given the Executive Branch.
.@NixonPeabodyLLP files class action suit for victims seeking to block N.H. state budget changes that would turn YDC Settlement administrator into a political appointee and effectively give @NH_DOJ veto power over his awards. #nhpolitics acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc…
It’s unconscionable & I’m filled with grief knowing this causes irreparable harm to our most vulnerable. #NHPolitics
Yesterday, Republicans passed a Medicaid income tax — and Governor Ayotte’s ready to sign it. Translation? Sick kids lose healthcare so the wealthy keep their tax breaks. Cruel doesn’t even begin to cover it. #NHPolitics
We were ready to govern. @NHGOP chose crisis instead. In the end, after days of dysfunction, Governor Ayotte and House and Senate Republicans did pass a budget that will forever leave a stain on this state. #NHPolitics
A few days before the fiscal year ends, @NHGOP nearly failed to pass a budget—then scrambled to pass a reckless CR slashing $700M from our state when another option was ready to go on the table. #NHPolitics
Republicans run the whole state and still couldn’t deliver a budget. Now they’re threatening a $700 million continuing resolution cut or a government shutdown. That’s not governing—it’s sabotage. Granite Staters deserve better. Do not shut down our government. #NHPolitics
Good Morning @NHHouseofReps! We’ve got final Committee of Conference reports to vote on but all eyes are on the ‘26-‘27 budget and its amendment. Stay tuned! 🍿#NHPolitics
