WHEN WE’RE IN CHARGE is now out!! Based on a decade+ of experience + 100s of interviews, I wrote a practical guidebook for millennials and gen Z on how to be an effective leader without being an asshole. whenwereincharge.com

Tina Moeinian, 37, was wrongfully fired from her federal job under Trump. Now? She’s one of 60K+ stepping up to run for office with us. As RFS President @amandalitman says: A run for office is “a specific and practical way to push back.” Your turn. 👇 #RunForSomething
The perfect example of what I mean when I've been saying: Zohran's communications style is only possible because of the substance.
Meet the New Centrist Democrat Copying Zohran Mamdani This is incredible @heycappello
This is evil. The Israeli government is starving children to death. There is no possible justification for these policies or for any other government supporting them.

ICE blocked @RepYassAnsari from visiting the Eloy Detention Center. My office continues to get calls from people suffering serious medical neglect in there. We rely on our partnership with the Congresswoman to get people help. This is wrong! kjzz.org/politics/2025-…
"Technical" problem, sure, okay.
Well this is jarring. John Kennedy (R-LA) is midway through a quip he's delivered a thousand times ("Jesus loves him but everyone else thinks he's an idiot") and completely freezes up mid-sentence.
Gen Z didn’t get the same shot at affordable housing older generations did. But if you're a renter, you bring something powerful to the table: lived experience. Run for office—and fight for housing policies that actually work for us. bit.ly/4lYoJC4
Any NY Democrat declining to get behind Mamdani after he won their district is saying they know better than their voters. Rude and disrespectful tbh.
NYC Mayoral: final round by Congressional District NY-05 🔵 Cuomo +20 NY-06 🟠 Mamdani +3 NY-07 🟠 Mamdani +52 NY-08 🟠 Mamdani +12 NY-09 🟠 Mamdani +4 NY-10 🟠 Mamdani +37 NY-11 🟠 Mamdani +3 NY-12 🟠 Mamdani +0.2 NY-13 🟠 Mamdani +19 NY-14 🟠 Mamdani +24 NY-15 🔵 Cuomo +20
Caring for other people isn’t a weakness. It’s a strength. And we need to model that strength—not with bravado or cruelty, but by showing up with purpose and humanity. 🧵
The GOP captured power by building a local machine focused on winning school boards, county commissions, and state legislatures. @AmandaLitman wrote about the importance of local races for Rights & Insights, our new (free) Substack. 🔗 open.substack.com/pub/rightsandi…
This shit is a scourge upon the party and whoever runs this should have a tough time looking themselves in the mirror.
nice racket...Blue Amp Action PAC raised $515K from Dem donors in the 1st 6 months of the year, $408K from small donors. It burned $536K on operating expenditures, including $269K to the PAC founder's Blue Amp Action LLC, and gave $1,000 each to Jon Ossoff and Mark Warner.
DC deserves so much better than this.
88-year-old D.C. Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton tells me this AM: “I’m certainly going to run for reelection.” (Her office has repeatedly walked this back already: axios.com/2025/06/25/nor…)
Why do I speak up and tell my story? Because in Kentucky, LGBTQ+ people have almost no legal protections, and the attacks keep coming! 👉 soapboxmedia.com/features/surge…
Other @runforsomething alum you might know: @MalloryMcMorrow @ZachWahls @AnnaForFlorida @yassaminansari @SarahEMcBride @JasmineForUS, among many others — a group of leaders diverse in state, ideology, and approach but all of whom bring new energy when we need it most.
.@runforsomething alum @jamestalarico is a total star - he’s also just one over over 1500 young people we’ve helped elect to state and local office across the country who are redefining the party in real time.
What is in there that Trump is willing to halt the rest of his legislative agenda to hide??
NEWS - House Rules Committee isn’t returning AT ALL tonight and likely not AT ALL THIS week amid Epstein + other issues, per sources Scalise confirms to me it’s “not likely” Rules return - meaning House would leave without advancing immigration and several other bills
If a more moderate Democrat beats a progressive in the 2028 primary (as in 2016 and 2020), it will be tough to convince progressives to unite behind the nominee when the Democratic establishment won't rally behind @ZohranKMamdani after his convincing primary win.
