It seems there are now daily reminders to take nothing for granted. Our people are everything. Bush Baby, I hope you knew how much you were loved. Your spirit will live on.
It's the little things that make life big for me. True happiness is elusive. Recently, I shared a joyful moment with my ❤️ lovely last born baby sister, CHERRY 🍒. Indescribable JOY! Still feels like my last 🕺 dance. 📹 SUBRA, #DJBBAF3.
This conversation is great to see! As @ABarirega says, urban areas are at greater risk of air pollution. Today looked foggy and almost beautiful at sunrise, but unfortunately this actually means almost the entirety of Kampala is experiencing unhealthy air @AirQoProject
It’s great to see the Executive Director of @nemaug, @ABarirega come out passionately as a champion for better air quality in the country. His leadership will be very pivotal to this fight. At the #CleanAirForum in Nairobi, we had the pleasure of chatting with him about this…
Karibu sana ❤️
Good morning! I'm in Uganda to visit family and friends. But depending on your perspective, don't worry or I'm sorry: I'll be back by the end of the month. See you soon, NYC.
On Saturday, whilst partaking in the #kampalabreathes campaign run by @PublicSquareEA. On our return journey from a 25km walk to the city center from Mukono. I decided to use a motorcycle during the evening commute back. The results say it all.
Last week, the @PublicSquareEA team asked me to run with an air quality monitor on my route for their #KampalaBreathes campaign. The results are dire. Whilst the air is clean in the green belt that’s protected, it’s terrible on the main roads of Ntinda, Kyambogo and Naalya
Making the Invisible Visible: A Walk for Clean Air This morning, at the invitation of @PublicSquareEA, I had the honor of using the WalkTalkConnect platform to highlight a cause that touches every breath we take — clean air. I walked with @juliantabaro and Ruth, two young…
This is so joyful. More of this.
On Friday night, we walked the length of Manhattan, from Inwood Hill to Battery Park. New Yorkers deserve a Mayor they can see, hear, even yell at. The city is in the streets.
Recently, I & @AbiazRwamwiri took a 60 km air quality run as part of the #KampalaBreathes campaign. With a mobile air sensor provided by @PublicSquareEA, we uncovered the invisible danger Kampala & Luwero residents face every day. Our air quality story👇. #RunForCleanAirUG
The air we breathe in Kampala is a silent killer. With pollution levels 10x the WHO safe limit, it's the 2nd leading risk factor for death in Africa, linked to 2,000 yearly deaths in our city. This danger's been invisible til now Today, we launch the #KampalaBreathes campaign.
Very excited about this campaign by @PublicSquareEA Thank you @Akeda4 for kicking it off! The journey to cleaner air is under way. Join us! #KampalaBreathes #WalkForCleanAirUG
On Saturday, I had the privilege to participate in a 21km #AirQuality walk around Northern Bypass (Naalya to Namboole section), Kireka, Kyambogo and Ntinda. Armed with a mobile air sensor, we uncovered the invisible danger Kampala residents face every day. Here is the scientific…
What is in the air you breathe every day? Follow the journey right here using the hashtags #KampalaBreathes and #RunForCleanAirUG See the data, hear the stories, and join the movement for a healthier city.
Let me take a break from partisan political conversations and actually speak about this issue that affects us all: the quality of air we breathe. We might find some agreement here. 🤭 -Do you know the safe air limit? -Do you know the air quality in your neighborhood? Is it…

We are deeply saddened by the loss of DJ Bush Baby who had recently joined Agora to share his creative ideas and contribute to our efforts toward building a better and more just society. We were truly looking forward to this promising partnership. May his Soul Rest in Eternal…
Loved filming Bush Baby, been blessed to do multiple creative projects with him the last of which was Bushbaby & Friends. No idea was too irredeemable in his wildly huge universe. We miss him and bequeath him to the other universe. Rest in Power.
Like Cedric, more Ugandans need hearts filled with love and empathy - @Kalinaki "Cedric, although not a public official, might have provided a convenient lightning rod for this anger but he is a victim of this dysfunction, not its architect. This dysfunction is political, as…
In March, @djbushbaby called me & asked me how he can use his voice & platform to contribute to the efforts for a better country. I knew the struggle w’d benefit a lot from his creativity so when expressed interest to join @AgoraCFR, we felt very fortunate..RIP💔
As @cobbo3 recently said, “ survivors (of torture) become tougher, movements grow…every tortured body sows the seed of revolt.Wounds heal and pain passes but what it provokes never forgets - and regimes built on fear will be outlived by the resistance they create.” I thought of…

Good people, I have no words🥹🥹 thank you for your support, concern and love. I am not okay but what a relief to be alive and back home! I still can’t believe @bonifacemwangi and I made it out alive. When 5 mean looking men and one woman pushed us into a very dark car where I…
