There’s a small gap in the rankings between translators and customer service reps. AI translators work almost perfectly, while AI customer service reps are... well, not so much

Microsoft just released their list of the 40 jobs most AI-applicable and the 40 jobs least AI-applicable. This list may have overlap with replaceability and job transformation. (Phlebotomists, you've got nothing to worry about.)

When I think about software for the next stage of the Web, this is what pops up: - local-first - privacy-first - great performance - extendable/malleable - works with crypto by default - at least partially open-source - shutdown-resistant Many of these things work well together
