Had a chance to visited Red Square in my recent Moscow trip two weeks ago. Contrasting with Beijing, there’s no pre-registration or ID checks here. Sometimes puzzled about which a country is at war.

Always great to host the @PennUSChina delegation at @CISSTsinghua! A day and a half of high-quality, cross-disciplinary discussions with the 3rd cohort, and glad to hear the side meetings went well. Thanks to my friend @NeysunM for your trust, and to my team for their hard work!

Each year, the centerpiece of our @PennUSChina fellows’ visit to Beijing is a 2 day workshop at @CISSTsinghua. This year’s discussions were simply outstanding. Many thanks again to my friend @mawangcun1 for hosting us, and also this year to Prof. Wang Jisi for his keynote remarks
So happy to be back at Tianjin Summer Davos after almost 10 years! Met so many old and new friends from business and academic community all over the world. I’m deeply impressed by the vibrant discussions in this fantastic venue. Great job, @wef

20 mins late: General Chang Hsueh-liang’s tomb gates locked in Honolulu. Symbolic. His century of what-ifs—so near, yet worlds apart.

Thrilled to join the Oslo Forum. In an increasingly chaotic world, mediation plays a uniquely vital role. Chinese scholars need deeper knowledge of mediation practices and regional/country studies. It’s time for China to step up and play a more proactive part in mediation.

Yesterday I watched a humanoid robot boxing competition, which was really interesting. For a brief moment, I almost felt like I was sitting not in my study, but in an Ancient Roman Colosseum. youtube.com/watch?v=PjA7dW…
