Hey @mattsontomlin how are things going with the Aegon series? Are you able to give a status update? Are things still moving forward? Have you turned in any scripts/drafts/outlines? I'm really hoping the show gets greenlit. Thanks!

When I first started writing I had an hourglass and I would write without stopping while the sand drained. Nowadays I can trust myself to force myself to write when I need to, give myself a break when it’s not the right day, and lock in and marathon when I can. It’s a process.
Must be a stupid question or something you have ansewered before but I would love to know about your writing process such if you prefer typing or longhand or your daily wordcount goal 😊
My father saved a pile of comics from his childhood. This was probably my first Batman.
what’s the first batman comic you ever read? what’s the most recent?
You should write a HBO tv show

My love of the character is bone deep and the constant reminder that I’m (obviously) not the only person that feels that way pushes me far beyond what I thought my own personal limits were.
I've wondered a lot about how Matt Reeves and you have managed to keep the Batman fan in you alive through years and years worth of work, effort, business and stress.
Batman changed my life.
what is it like to write for such a huge character like batman? is there a lot of pressure to deliver what you think the fans want for the sequel or have you and matt had a general idea for it since the first one
Write! Finish what you start. Don’t be afraid to be bad, but when you write something that doesn’t work, fight hard to understand WHY it doesn’t work. Find the scripts for your favorite movies and watch them while you read along to see what the pros do and how it all translates.
Any tips for someone wanting to get into writing?
I would have loved to pitch for it but I haven’t been available for a minute.
Can you please write a Blade movie and call it Vampire Hunter or something. Marvel Studios cant seem to figure it out
Less than 10 percent
what percentages of scripts you write actually get made?
Finish what you start!
any advice to upcoming screenwriters?
Dream IP to write for outside of your previous work and any original ideas?

I am writing the movie
By any chance are you cooking up a new Vicious Circle? There are so many amazing pages put into that oven I like to call a Lee Bermejo special 😆
Origins is my favorite and I am more than a little bit annoyed that I can't play it on a ps4/5.
What about Arkham games?
The first hour of BEGINS is extremely important to me. The Selina Kyle story in RETURNS is perfect. I think there’s a psychological undercurrent of FOREVER that is really admirable and I wish took up more space of that film.
i have to ask What is your favourite batman show/movie? (except for the batman & the batman pt2 ofc)
The Batman soundtrack by @m_giacchino 🤓
What music did yall listen to when yall wrote Part Two? @mattsontomlin
I wrote a lot! I started when I was nine years old and wrote many bad scripts through college. When I graduated grad school I started to put together my tools to start writing well. When you pitch, imagine you just saw a movie and you want to convince your friends to go see it.
where did you learn to write scripts? And what's your advice on pitching your spec scripts to others?
