🎨 Gorey Art Circle’s 51st Summer Exhibition 🖼️ The wonderful Gorey Art Circle’s exhibition opened tonight celebrating local creativity and a community appreciating art. Exhibition runs at the Masonic Hall, The Avenue Gorey every day until Sunday 27th July from 11am to 5pm

The first ever Rainbow Crossing in Ireland was in #Arklow as a sign of the inclusive nature of the community. It is a pity that @wicklowcoco seem to want to allow it to fade particularly as the Department of Transport has said there is no barrier to it remaining.

National Development Plan The next National Development Plan will be published shortly and I got to discuss with my friend and colleague @jackfchambers the need for long term infrastructural investment.

One of the big challenges in politics is ensuring that thought is given to long term planning, rather than just in electoral cycles. I support the work of @Coalition2030IR in seeking to ensure that the long term impacts of policy making are considered.
