What is WILD to me is that, we as scholars know that *inserting shiny new tech* is often an intentional labor-destabilizing practice and we cannot see it happening in our own backyard.

I now understand Susanne Bodker's rage & why she was compelled to write, "When second wave HCI meets third wave challenges". I'm tired of AI/LLM. Its the same underlying problems in new formats without connecting to the established, but apparently quickly forgotten, literature.

I’ll keep saying it: the AI apocalypse doesn’t look like Terminator, it looks like societies drowning in an ocean of AI generated/AI elevated bullshit and misinformation that steadily make it impossible to tell truth from fiction…
