i don't see people talk about this a lot but this is one of my worst "abuse side effects"? and my own abusers can't believe that i in fact have a blank space where all my childhood (AND TEENAGE!) memories should be. the only things i remember are the instances of violence.

i think a lot of people attach their sense of self to the books, music, fashion, art, etc, that they like (myself included). so they internalise negative reviews and interpret them as personal attacks: “are you saying something is wrong with me because i enjoyed this? 😡”

It's because we openly talk about our racism problem constantly, whereas most countries just consider their various ethnic blood feuds to be an unremarkable part of life.

The age of censorship is NOW. It's supported by the Loud minority on Social Media(which is growing their voice significantly), and It's an easy win to be the "Good Guy who thinks about Kids"(probably more ways than one lol) for payment processors & politicians. S.Koreans are-
