I would like to add that Bitcoin was never meant to be anonymous, but pseudonyms. The possibility of anonymity is possible, but the average joe isn't going to go through it. So there's trade offs right. Bitcoin as decentralized cross border inflation hedge and xmr for privacy.

Monero is obviously more private than Bitcoin or any other crypto, for that matter. But it's not full proof, and it's leaky. To start, the majority of people are not going to take the steps to own Monero in an untraceable way. Maybe I should re word my original comment.
