Trump hinted at new concessions in UK-EU trade deal. On meeting w Starmer "We want to talk about certain aspects which are going to be good for both countries, more fine tuning, also we are also going to be doing a little celebrating together because we get along very well."
Some of his words were inaudible but Trump message to EU was clear - come back with more like Japan Also pointed out the EU's tariff would be 30% on 1 August. "They can leave them where they are. If they want to make a deal very badly.. ..." then he referred to Japan.
