#OCD and mental health advocate documenting my journey of recovery.
For some of the newer people who have joined the community, here’s a little more about me. I live right outside of Philadelphia and have been dealing with OCD since it onset in 2008. I finally got diagnosis and treatment a couple years later.
I’m honestly so burnt out with life. How do I keep going while staying sane.
i hope one day we all can just be happy without having to constantly be so strong. we deserve softness too.
When someone dies from an illness/disease, you don’t hear offensive, disrespectful, or disparaging comments made about those who’ve passed on, as you do with the victims of suicide due to mental illness or any other mental health-related issue.
So sad. 💔 Please check on those who even seem to be the happiest. They could be hiding unimaginable pain.
JUST IN: Chef Anne Burrell died by suicide, ABC News has confirmed. Her cause of death was "acute intoxication due to the combined effects of diphenhydramine, ethanol, cetirizine, and amphetamine." goodmorningamerica.com/culture/story/…
Being suicidal due to depression isn’t about wanting to die. It’s about believing that you need to die to rid yourself of the pain you’re experiencing.
