I spend so much of my time defending the BBC but this is indefensible. It makes zero sense to anyone who's read even a few lines about this tribunal. A MAN wanted to force a woman to change in front of him. The NHS wanted to punish her for saying no. That's it. That's the story.

An extraordinary read. Day by day it is revealed how senior NHS Fife staff prioritized Dr Upton's wants & histrionics over everything else, The way the whole institution ground into action to cosset & enable him when a woman objected is mind-boggling.

While we are waiting to hear from Dr Searle at #SandiePeggie tribunal, I’d like to ask doctor colleagues from NHS Fife Trust, why have they allowed this demonstrable nonsense? “Intersex” is not an ”identity“. Medical conditions are not identities to opt in or out of.
