We're splitting hairs here, because it's still going to be hot for everyone. However, for those under the watch, the extreme heat doesn't arrive until Tuesday, while for those under the warning, temperatures climb from today through Thursday.

Areas under the Flood Watch should be prepared for heavy rain through early Monday. The rain will briefly temper the temperatures in those areas, with the extreme heat holding off until Tuesday
