Sometimes along your career, you meet people who leave a mark on you. Zelig was one of them to me; at the time when cancer immunotherapy was barely born. Inspirational, revolutionary, and also incredibly kind.
We mourn the loss of our beloved department member, Prof. Zelig Eshhar — a visionary immunologist and pioneer of CAR-T cell therapy. His groundbreaking work revolutionized cancer treatment and gave hope to countless patients.
Don’t miss the opportunity to share your work with us and our incredible lineup of speakers , submit your abstract and register Langerhans.org RT

Couldn't agree more; thank you for your inspiring leadership @WashUChancellor not only upholds WashU's esteemed reputation but also ensures that it remains a sanctuary for academic and personal growth.
After pro-Hamas protest on Saturday was quickly removed from WashU campus, we received today email from the chancellor explaining the situation. I’m only showing the last paragraph. That’s what leadership looks like. Thank you @WashUChancellor for your brave message.
The most beautiful fireworks! May the coming year be filled with peace, health successes, scientific breakthroughs and a strong and collaborative immunology community
Aren't these dendritic cells as mesmerizing as fireworks? Happy New Year from Science #Immunology! Start the year off by reading how these cells “self-shape” the chemically-guided pathways that help them shuttle antigens from peripheral organs to lymph nodes.
