A hot and humid day today and even hotter, more humid weather--with a Heat Advisory up for the Fourth. Thunderstorms in the metro should hold off until later Friday night. The wettest day of the holiday weekend will be on Saturday followed by a cooler and less humid Sunday.

A grey start to the Father's Day weekend with fog and drizzle this morning. No steady rain today, but damp and mostly cloudy with a passing shower. Thunderstorms on the way late tonight and part of Father's Day.

KMPX -5:23 PM : Twin Cities may have dodged the worst, but there have been numerous reports of funnel clouds and tornadoes north and south (red polygon=tornado warnings)
A Tornado WATCH is now in effect until 11 pm, including all of the Twin Cities Metro and south/east. Greatest tornado threat for metro is 6 pm thru 9 pm
It’s 2:35 PM, a tornado watch will likely be issued, including the Twin Cities, within the next hour or two.
Much of Eastern and Southeastern Minnesota and Western Wisconsin are under the threat for severe thunderstorms later today. The biggest threat is large hail and strong straight-line winds, but the tornado threat is pretty high today as well. In the Twin Cities 4pm-7pm. #mnwx

I've just emerged from a 3-week depression and things are good again. My bipolar used to be on the 'up' side & for no explanation, they have lately been on the down side. For those struggling right now, let me be an example that you can get through this...it will get better. 🙂
