If you truly believe money can't buy happiness, you simply haven't given enough away yet.
What's stopping you from vibecoding next to a river in a hammock while looking at the mountains?
This keeps happening to me in Gnome and there is a 50/50 chance rebooting to get it to stop results in me redoing grub. Inputs all stop working.

Consider this; every single corpse on Mount Everest was once a highly motivated individual. Stay lazy friends. ✌️
Well; I'll be dead. No point worrying about it.
Yellowstone Super Volcano is huge. Many speculate it is somewhat unstable. What would potentially happen if it erupted. Apparently.
Retried Asahai Linux this time with Arch on my M1 Macbook. Biggest problem for me is half the devtools I use didn't have Arm versions. Whomp Whomp. Looks like Linux on a Arm based Mac's just isn't happening. Which is a shame. I'd love portable Linux.
No one has noticed that we eat ten times the garbage today. That's why people can't afford to feed their families. Do you see 3 varieties of breakfast cereals, potato chips, etc in this photo? Guarantee we consume X2 as many calories per week. We're all fatter to boot.
If groceries cost $12.50 in 1947, what would that translate to today?

"Get a wife. Get a couple kids. Family really is the great antidote to loneliness." - @dhh 🎯
Perplexity is possibly the worst AI tool I have ever encountered. It will literally make shit up and use unrelated sources or say two opposite things in the same sentence. This thing habitually hallucinates.
H1B has always been about cheap labor, not a talent shortage. “America doesn’t have enough talent” is a lie cooked up by corporate PR to keep wages low.
I used to work for a company where I had an H1B peer. Nice enough guy, pretty competent. He was getting burnt out and lamenting how he couldn’t leave unless he found a new visa sponsor. Eventually he confided in me his salary because he was unhappy with a raise he got…
Today we hit the exact midpoint of the year. And from today forward, 2050 will be closer in time than the year 2000.
Some things: 1. It's July 1st, don't forget to pay rent (if you rent) 2. I have an opening for 1-2 clients if anyone is looking for a senior level engineer who's insanely capable of doing whatever you throw at him, DM's are open. 3. I'm going to start streaming myself working…
Tomorrow is July 1st. I also give my moving out notice to my landlord tomorrow. No turning back, California here I come.
Had a great conversation with @dhh about Linux, Omarchy, and enabling more people to enter the Linux community!
You’re not saving money managing rentals yourself. You’re just hoarding all the headaches. 🧠💥 I pay my PM so I don’t have to wrangle evictions or deal with city code notices. Guess who’s not on the phone with the city today? This guy. ✌️

If you want a workout that will make you feel like a man; swing an axe and chop rounds.

Way too many.
Most of us spend a lot of time studying about nerd stuff, like computers, math, physics, etc. But do you have a non-nerd passion/hobby that occupies a lot of your time?
