Significant flooding in parts of the DMV Saturday lead to several water rescues, road closures and traffic delays. The cleanup continues today around Sligo and Rock Creek areas after high water left some storm debris. @7NewsDC
Flash Flood Emergency continues for parts of Montgomery County including Bethesda, Takoma Park and Silver Spring. Silgo Creek rose quickly and has submerged roads in the area. Seek higher ground and avoid flooded roads. @7NewsDC

Flash Flood Warning issued for the northern half of the Capital Beltway, including the District, Montgomery and Prince Georges counties. Turn around don't drown! Flash flooding is possible in low water crossings, creeks and streams. @7NewsDC #dcwx
Storm chances return again Saturday evening in DC. Not everyone will see rain, but gusty winds and localized flooding are possible under the strongest storms. Tracking heat and humidity relief to start next week. @7NewsDC

Storms with gusty winds up to 60 mph, lightning and heavy rain are racing eastward just south of DC. Broad rotation is being seen too, stay indoors until storms pass and be prepared to move to an interior room on the lowest level if they go tornado warned. @7NewsDC
