Wondering what it will take for the “academic revolt” to happen. If not this, then what? Service is one thing, but estimates like these reveal something wayyyy more aggressive. JMO

Final day! S&C practitioners… please complete and share our survey to help us better understand how accentuated eccentric loading is used to develop power in sport💥 🔗 bit.ly/44nLPLp 🌍 Also available in 中文 (Chinese): 🔗 bit.ly/4kENrqn
🚨 Just a few days left to complete our AEL survey! We're gathering insights from S&C practitioners across all sports to understand how AEL is used to develop power. 📝 ~20 min 🙈 Anonymous 🌐 Link to survey: bit.ly/44nLPLp 📊 Chinese version: bit.ly/4kENrqn
S&C Terminology Tip: Tell athletes to “slow down quickly” instead of “decelerate quickly” This is because “Decelerate quickly” means be jerky and not smooth. OTOH, “slow down quickly” or “stop quickly” means use a lot of deceleration.
Whoa 🤯
BREAKING: Christian Horner is to exit Red Bull Racing with immediate effect #F1
📢 Thanks to everyone who’s completed our AEL survey! We’re still collecting insights from S&C practitioners on how AEL is used to develop power in sport 👇 🌍 In: English, Français, Español, Português, Italiano 🔗 bit.ly/44nLPLp 🌍 中文: 🔗 bit.ly/4lIbKEI
Thrilled to share our latest open-access paper in @JSportsSci! We compare numerical integration techniques for CMJ+AEL in youth athletes. 👉 tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10… Huge thanks to @johnharry76 @ProfJLake @j_d_hughes @Peter_Mundy @NicolaTheis @MiaDHite @AntonJSimms

One of the most informative conversations we’ve ever had⤵️
Had the pleasure of chatting with @Huntereis_sc and @coachmikesully1 on the @mtn_perform podcast. Check it out here: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/mov…
Awesome work here, led by @IrineuLoturco! Love seeing the momentum-based prescriptions in the wild!

The strength and conditioning field is rooted and based on the practical application of scientific principles. To be a practitioner and not use these principles is negligence
📄 New study now online in @JSCRonline, assessing inter-limb asymmetry during rotational jump landings, led by the ever-impressive @johnharry76. 🔗 Link to publication (ahead of print) here: journals.lww.com/nsca-jscr/full….
Force Platform ✅ Force Plate 🚫 One is a surface you stand on. The other is a dish you serve food with. Rant over.
Awesome to see our @TTU_Biomech work used by the @HawkinDynamics crew to incorporate some landing performance metrics in their system! hawkindynamics.com/blog/new-landi…
Strength Coaches: Here’s a simple, neat, yet probably unfamiliar little tool for your toolbox when assessing training specificity. It’s easy as PVA! Coming soon in the @NSCASCJonline
