Credit where it’s due. Tahniah YAB PM @anwaribrahim atas kejayaan jadi orang tengah gencatan senjata Kemboja-Thailand. ASEAN dah cukup tertekan dengan perang tarif era Trump. Lebih 120 juta rakyat ASEAN masih hidup dalam kemiskinan. Kita tak mampu satu lagi perang. Biar…

💯 💯 💯. thank you “It has now become painfully clear that all parties are rotten. Not all equally rotten, but all infected with the same diseases — corrupt, arrogant, dishonest, etc”
My hypothesis: The hope is gone. Most Malaysians (myself included) are just trying to make a good life for our families. Politics isn't the be-all. It has now become painfully clear that all parties are rotten. Not all equally rotten, but all infected with the same diseases —…
A shorter way of saying the same thing: If an election were called now, I think we would have the lowest voter turnout since 1999 (the last time it was under 72%).

It doesn't matter whether it's 10,000 or 100,000. Mocking the turnout is what Najib and BN used to do. Their mistake was presuming that those who did not attend the rally actually supported them. In case it needs reminding, PN controls the Malay vote. If the strategy is to…
Sorry to say. But we don't have a better person for a replacement at this moment. No matter how bad Anwar is, let him finish his term. Doing a protest is fine. But make demands instead. Not asking for him to let go his position #TurunAnwar
Syed Saddiq is the ideal Malay-Muslim progressive MP who has a vision to overhaul, disrupt current hegemonies and abuse of power. Let the young lead, and Malaysia will prosper. (Implying some retire and pass the torch with due respect)
turun anwar is ok if there's better figure to replace but yall want him to be replaced by who? Hadi Awang? Muhyiddin?
MalaysiaNow has published an audio clip allegedly linked to the approval of a coal mining licence for a company tied to Farhash Wafa Salvador, a former aide to PM Anwar Ibrahim. In the recording, Sabah CM Hajiji Noor is heard backing the company and urging for its approval.…

Despite the slew of measures announced by PM Anwar to help the people weather the higher cost of living , analysts say they are unlikely to shore up confidence towards his administration overnight . More long term fix is needed.
Truly a legendary unforced error for Anwar to plan an outlier "Pengumuman penghargaan luar biasa" that left people waiting a week when these handouts could and should have been tucked into RMK13 speeches or Budget. Bizarre strategy; I imagine internally PH folks aren't happy too.
Today, Madani has borrowed another RM5 billion. This brings the government’s net borrowings for 2025 so far to RM81.28 billion, which has already exceeded the RM80 billion borrowing limit set in Budget 2025 -even though not even 8 months have passed. This also means that total…
The main take home for me isn't the fact that RON95 for Malaysians will be reduced by 6 sen to 1.99. It's the fact that foreigners will pay the MARKET price (unless I'm understanding the announcement wrong). If the effect is similar to diesel, this will bring significant…
Quite agree… But by the same logic, the impact of RM100 for really rich families is negligible... …and so those RM could, in principle, be transferred to the really poor families for an even bigger impact
As someone who once lived off RM400/month as a broke law student, I can appreciate the impact of RM100 for really low income families. For a 2 adult 2 children household, that's RM200 extra breathing space for either necessities or rare treats like chocolate milk for the kids.
Can't deny RM100 is a relief to B40 families but the middle class doesn't see this as anything much. Handouts show that the gov is not tackling core issues i.e the rising cost of living, low wages and inflation. It's 2025 and we still need handouts as during the BN era (BR1M).
