🎓Last Nov 22nd I defended my PhD at @IBBTEC . Huge thanks to family and friends, to my evaluators (@joadelas, @Remeseiro_Lab, @jucaacoco) and to my thesis director @RadaIglesiasLab. A day full of surprises I’ll keep in my heart forever. Never imagined I'd enjoy this day so much!

Big shout out to those researchers who made their data available in PDB over the years The Chemistry Nobel Prize winners today relied on that open academic data to train their models We wouldn't have these advances if researchers hadn't made 200,000 protein structures available
I’m so excited to launch my independent career in a big way with the @NIH_CommonFund!! This is truly a testament to the wonderful mentors in my life and I hope I make them proud!
Human embryos can temporarily halt development, as in #diapause. This finding was made using #blastoids -stem cell-based embryo models- by Nicolas Rivron @IMBA_Vienna. It could improve #IVF and offers a 🆕 understanding of early human life. Read more 👉 bit.ly/3TJ5i4H
Our new work is out today! Long time in the oven, this has been a really fun and informative collaboration led by Dhanur Iyer in my lab and @HK_Heidar from @NRivron lab. We show that human embryonic cells have an inherent potential to regulate their developmental timing.
