Really great bit
Comedies make us smile, laugh, and occasionally groan. But the future of comedy movies needs your help. Do your part and get tickets for #NakedGun today - only in theatres August 1.
it's L4ZR GR1D. peter tyukasz (also of SIGIL, mutarotik) & alix au. they reached out for mastering, potentially partially because they misunderstood my offer (sounded like i was offering for free), so i gave them a discount anyway & they seemed grateful. & they ripped me off.
it's my dumbass mistake to do work without getting paid first, which i very rarely do.....but at what point do i put this artist on blast? it's been over a year, & they released the music, but started ignoring me months before that
i invented a new game: "public music" vs "people's music." the first refers to music where the artist is totally sublimated into the product that is their music; the second refers to music that retains the artists' personhood over whatever "product" they make
Liam Neeson has made a PSA to get people to see ‘THE NAKED GUN’ to save theatrical comedies. “For the price of one movie ticket, you can help rescue a comedy and, in the process, get to share a smile and a laugh” (Source: @Fandango)
Totally not biased
Give an example of the best anyone has ever looked in a movie...
I have to let you all know right now that i have jim o'rourke halfway to a threeway frog But the mini keychain version and he is my son and i love him very much
just listened to Heavy Metal by Cameron Winter for the first time. it’s not bad but I’m not really into it. I don’t mind the vocals but I didn’t really connect with the songs themselves. sounds like Van Morrison (derogatory). great album art though

Realized on what’s probably my 6th watch of Jackie Brown that parts of this movie feel so much like a Douglas Sirk melodrama and that Robert Forster is Rock Hudson
Putting Pam at the center of this film isn’t just homage & recognition for a genre Tarantino loves, it’s an insistence—at the start—on passage of time, the fears, lessons, beauty that come w age. A different way for him to manipulate temporality in formalism. And deeply romantic.
