The @RACSurgeons meeting was a great experience and fun, but the trip wasn’t all work. @DrCNClarke and I got to the top of Sydney Harbor Bridge (440 ft above the water)!

Excellent talk by @FazendinJessica about transitioning from learner to leader at the @RACSurgeons Excelling as a Younger Fellow session!

Got to meet @DGlaucomflecken, who was an @GeiselMed student, last night and then hear a great talk this afternoon in Australia on issues with US healthcare at the @RACSurgeons meeting! @AcademicSurgery @DartSurgery

Day 3 underway and discussing important issues faced by @RACSurgeons at the Younger Fellows Forum! @AcademicSurgery @DartSurgery #RACSYFF25

The final speaker at day one of the #RACSYFF25 (30 April) was Australia’s first ever MasterChef winner Julie Goodwin on innovation, precision and excellence outside the operating theatre. Julie spoke about performing through nerves and overcoming imposter syndrome. #RACSYFF25
US delegate to the RACS Younger Fellows Forum, Dr Joseph Phillips, spoke yesterday about defining success for yourself and his journey through clinical/academic practice. RACS and the Association for Academic Surgery offer an exchange program for Younger Fellows. #RACSYFF25
It is with mixed emotions that we share the news that Dr. John Mullen will be leaving MGH to become the Chief of Surgery at Dartmouth. While his presence here will be profoundly missed, we are thrilled as he takes on this prestigious and well-earned opportunity. Congratulations!!
Rep. Mary Hakken-Phillips, D-Hanover on $25 mil. cut to USNH: “Until this week students were concerned about how much of a tuition increase they would be facing. They should be concerned about whether their campuses can stay open.” #nhpolitics
