For unrelated reasons, I’ve resigned my position at Harvard. But I haven’t been able to speak frankly with *anyone* for c 5 yrs, & it’ll be hard to forget the spectacle of this nation’s ‘intellectual élite’ enforcing moral auto-lobotomy as a condition of entry to polite society
No-one has done more to hold régime philosophers to account than Kathleen, as is attested by the huge amount of vilification she’s had to endure Hey does anyone remember ‘non-consensual co-platforming’
Very obviously, nothing like our essay would have been possible if not for Kathleen’s own interventions starting more than half a decade ago.
Emanuel is notoriously a knife fighter, perhaps the most disagreeable Democrat in the whole party -- that he remained meekly silent for a decade while the party inflicted extraordinary harms on vulnerable children until the mania at last exacted an electoral price and created a…
Rahm Emanuel's criticized Ds for "pronoun" talk, but @megynkelly is the first interviewer I've seen drill down on his gender views. Boys + girls are "fundamentally, physically different." No "men claiming they're women" in women's prisons. "Can a man become a woman? No."
Stop and look. The defence of a Scottish health board (at public expense) is invoking vicious (and irrelevant) gossip that a woman is unhappy that her daughter is a lesbian. Her daughter.👇
Jeez do I need to go back under oath to clear this up😝 My mum is my best friend, has and always will be. Her only concern is if I’m happy🩷
All you need to know is that Palestrina is nowhere to be found in this list of the 50 ‘greatest composers’. Just move on
We asked 174 composers to choose their 50 favourite composers of all time – but with so many famous composers to choose from it was a tough task. Here's how they rank... classical-music.com/composers/50-g…
I wonder how many of them confirmed BBC Music Magazine’s 2020 poll, in which Clara Schumann was voted the greatest composer of all time

A whole decade later, after millions of children were propagandized from the earliest age that any of them can change sex, and thousands were chemically castrated and dismembered, as federal judges override Trump Administration action to remove males rapists and murders from…
Are we facing a civilisation-ending break in rationality? Or will the best & bravest of the new generation look at their elders and think: We can do better than these cowardly fools? Two brilliant young philosophers write on the beclowning of their field philosophersmag.com/philosophical-…

The extent of the witch hunt against Sandie Peggie at NHS Fife is becoming more and more obvious with every day.

Something of a departure from the accustomed norms of debate. Ok so it’s not *technically* a death threat — Mr Edugarzam is merely giving expression to a wish — but I feel it’s a significant rite of passage nonetheless lol

The BBC has a greater responsibility than any other news outlet in the UK not to lie to its readers. It fails this duty time and time again in the full knowledge that it’s doing so, and that it doesn’t have to comply with ‘preferred pronouns’. /
Eagerly awaiting the reaction chez Daily Nous. Too transphobic to dignify with a response, or ‘refuted’ under sheaves of paper-thin fallacies? Someone should open a book
This is brilliant and, as Kathleen says, devastating (and acutely embarrassing to Yale philosophy in particular). Nearly every paragraph expresses — typically more eloquently & succinctly — things I’ve been thinking & saying to a tiny number of ‘safe’ interlocutors for years
S/times one’s vices lend extra weight to one’s words. Thus my colossal intellectual vanity is a reason to take me more seriously when I say that my kids may well be (NB may well be) smarter than I am, or that I doubt I could have written a better piece on these issues than this
