Transfer portal athletes NEED to hire an attorney to review their collective deals. Make sure you are signing what you think you are signing. Also, my services are billed by time spent NOT by a flat rate %. No need to give away 5-20% to a “marketing rep” or “NIL Agent.”
The Seahawks are signing rookie DK Kaufman, former NC State DB, I’m told. He’ll play RB for the Seahawks, tho — and likely factor into the KR battle. DK had 469 KR yards last year & averaged 31.3 yards per KR. Seattle has a void at KR & RB due to Kenny McIntosh’s knee injury.
Schefter: EDGE Shemar Stewart agrees to a 4-year, $18.97M deal with the Bengals. Fully guaranteed.
Not true.
BREAKING: You can now clone any music without copyright risk. Mureka AI just launched a tool that lets you upload any reference track and generate a custom instrumental in the same style. Here's how it works (+ wild examples):
Requirements for @NFLPA-certified contract advisors: Pass an exam (with a very low success rate), pay annual dues (~$2500) and get at least one player on an #NFL Roster every 3 yrs. If not, you're out. Requirements for NIL agents: Call yourself one.
Nearly 2,000 NIL "reps and agents" in the system. Goodness footballscoop.com/2025/07/22/how…
Wrong.

I get 5–10 emails a week from people in this exact situation. You don’t have to handle it alone and you don’t have to pay upfront for help. My firm takes these cases on contingency. If this has happened to you, DM me. Let’s talk.
travis scott sampled “pursuit” (without permission) in his new song “kick out”. I just cant stop thinking about who else extremely famous or powerful in music knows about us and even actively likes our music but refuses to throw us a fucking bone 💔
Here’s an example of a communication to an NIL collective of a $150K NIL deal that was rejected by “NIL GO” - essentially defining the class of NIL businesses that are adversely affected by the CSC’s baseless interpretation of NCAA Bylaw 22.1.3. @TCA_NIL
House attorneys requested the NCAA + P5 retract the College Sports Commission's guidance that booster-backed NIL collectives must meet a “valid business purpose.” Collectives tell @On3sports they're preparing for a legal action if the guidance isn't altered. "They just provided…
Beyoncé’s choreographer and a dancer say thieves broke into their SUV at Krog Street Market on July 8 and stole hard drives containing unreleased music, show plans, and set lists just days before her Cowboy Carter tour stop in Atlanta.
Most TV show deals include rights for 3 seasons up front. Season 4 is usually the tough one as it means renegotiating with all talent. If the show’s been a hit like this, the price goes up 📈
TIRES SEASON 3 COMING 2026
One of my all-time favorite type of videos is pre-fame bands playing their extremely famous songs to a tiny room of people, because they're not yet known. A thread of some examples: Bastille playing Pompeii in what looks like someone's living room:
Do the Coke and Pepsi CEOs compare notes on how much they pay their key employees? The mere fact that NFL owners are having these conversations is proof of coordination/collusion in what's supposed to be an environment of competition.
NFL owners: We didn't collude. Also NFL owners: Congrats on signing your QB to a non-fully-guaranteed contract. It will help us do the same with our QB! nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…
Formally copyright your work to protect against infringement and maximize potential damages
Hi thumbnail artist here, who's made 300 plus thumbnails and would not like my work to be used in your stupid little app thing, i never gave consent, i work really hard on each and every thumbnail and i would not like my work stolen @MrBeast
NEWS: In a landmark moment in college sports, the University of Wisconsin has filed a lawsuit against Miami for tampering, and eventually poaching, a college football player under contract (Xavier Lucas), per documents obtained by @YahooSports. bit.ly/4nct5Ho
Not a stunt, just smart business. If you know your content it going to be infringed, you should always file a copyright prior to the infringement occurring
Holy shit, Ethan actually registered the Content Nuke 3 days before release so he could pull this stunt.
The big thing here too is that the Bengals clearly do not want to pay Trae Hendrickson and drafted him as a cheaper replacement and he actually has leverage and is able to ask for what was previously given to first rounders so yeah He should get what the others got
This isn’t just about his contract, this undermines all of the precedent that the NFLPA worked for. He is holding out for every future 1st round pick’s sake.
Imagine Shemar Stewart passes on a $10.4M signing bonus because of language in his contract about future guarantee voids. Re-enters for 2026, sits out the year. Gets drafted in Round 4 (a contract in the $5m range) or later. Just sign the contract, kid.
The first appeal to the NCAA House settlement was just filed, claiming the deal violates Title IX law. An appeal will not stop payments from schools to their current athletes starting July 1. It will pause back damages payments for a process that will likely take many months.
The House Settlement has been approved, kicking off a forever change for college athletics. Schools can begin paying student athletes directly on July 1 out of the rev share.
BREAKING: Judge Wilken grants final approval to the House settlement.
Showing everyone what we already knew 💨😮💨
