Very exciting for The Post. I can’t think of anyone more qualified to fill the shoes of the retiring @danbalz than @ktumulty. Karen is The Post. She’s been a brilliant columnist and was a stellar editorial page editor. She’s never stopped relentlessly reporting — and never will.
Some personal news:
Not too late for New York City to avoid this fate. Government run grocery stores have never worked and never will.
Despite a recent $750k taxpayer subsidy, the shelves at Kansas City's government-run grocery store are "almost bare." It also lost $885k last year and is, unsurprisingly, hemorrhaging customers.
Trump’s letter to Epstein for his 50th bday contains text framed by the outline of a naked woman, which appears to be hand-drawn with a heavy marker. A pair of arcs denotes the woman’s breasts, and a squiggly “Donald” below her waist mimics pubic hair. wsj.com/politics/trump…

Who paid for the t-shirts and the victory party? @trayonwhite did not list any expenditures in his campaign finance reports. He also did not provide details for any contributions. His report shows $816.12 on-hand, but no source for the funds.
Credit to Ward 8 voters: 71% rejected @trayonwhite. Big-time fail on behalf of all DC political players and institutions: none had the ability (desire?) to recruit or support a candidate. Winning required a mere 2,000 votes from among 56,000 eligible voters.
