Extraordinary. 1.3 million foreign nationals living in the UK are claiming Universal Credit. Welfare must be for British citizens only.
New stats out today show that of the 1,279,765 non-UK nationals claiming Universal Credit, only 40% are in work. So 757,000 are claiming and not working. And UC is only half of working age welfare spending. This is not a sensible immigration policy.
