To be clear: I haven't gone quiet, I'm basically just posting on Bluesky now. I'm not saying I won't ever post here, but if for some reason you enjoy seeing me post a lot then that's where I'm doing it!
Because we don't have Lime Bikes, Manchester is forcing people to walk over and hour to Heaton Park to see Oasis
10 July 2000. Commons considers amendments. The final comment by an MP before the 2000 Terrorism Act becomes law is by @MikeGapes, replying to those concerned the Act will be applied in future to "non-violent direct action." No such thing, he tells the house, will ever happen.

A huge thank you to everyone who has chosen to follow me today for whatever reason. It’s been quite a ride…
Would there be so many unlawful e-bikes (motorbikes) on the road if takeaway companies provided legal, regulated, safe, pedal-assist e-bikes? Would the riders break traffic laws if they weren't only paid per delivery? Look at this Takeaway .NL bike depot I saw in Rotterdam.

My Environmental Information Regulations request in to why the building of this bridge has been delayed has itself been delayed.
It's been a whole year since construction started on Manchester's newest bridge, so I threw it its first birthday party - complete with chocolate cake! Planning documents said it'd take 2.5 months, the sign said it would take six months - a year later, it's still not open.

Anyone know of anyone who is going to be on the last Aberdeen to Penzance train? Would love to have a chat...

No one wants to spend their Easter weekend stuck in traffic. So we're lifting more than a thousand miles of roadworks over Easter. And to save you money, we've frozen fuel duty and delivered record funding to fix potholes. Drivers — I'm on your side.

I have posted more details in full on the other app, but I have now been paid in full and have doubled this to £80 and donated to Stonewall. GB News has confirmed it won't be having me on again since I refused to sign their gag clause.
GB News, home of 'Free Speech Nation', is trying to make me sign a gag clause in exchange for the £40 payment for this appearance. We didn't agree it beforehand. I won't be signing it. My reading of this is I wouldn't be able to say, e.g., 'Nigel Farage sucks'.
