Basketball Bit: Do you know that Coach Lorene Ramsey was the first female Hall of Fame coach inductee for the IBCA in 1992? Coach Ramsey led the Illinois Central College Cougars to 5 NJCAA National titles.

The Basketball Museum of Illinois’ annual Central Illinois golf outing is Wednesday, July 23 at the Rail Golf Course.
And the IBCA Southwestern Illinois is two days later, on July 25, at the Arlington Greens Course near Collinsville⛳️🏀 You can support the Basketball Museum twice in the same week!
The IBCA is proud to recognize our amazing Senior All Stars that competed at Pontiac HS today while representing their high schools and demonstrating the excellence that they have shown over the past four years. We are proud of you and wish you the best in your bright futures!
Another highlight of our 2025 All-Star games was watching the father/son combinations compete in our final game of the day. Pictured below (R-L) our North 3-4 Head Coach Glenn Olson (Niles North) with son Reid and Assistant Mike Reynold (DeKalb) with son Sean. Congrats to all!!

As we close the books on a great day of IBCA All-Star games at Pontiac HS, we are incredibly grateful for the amazing hosts that take care of us so well and help us serve our All-Star student athletes and coaches. Thanks to Pontiac Athletics and Pontiac Parks for all you do.

In the final game of the day, the 3A-4A North boys outlasted the South by a score of 133-129. Outstanding play on both sides. So much to be proud of and very bright futures ahead for all of these All-Stars!
The 3-4 North Girls were victorious this afternoon by a score of 111-71. Congratulations to all our young women on their great efforts today!

It was a shootout in the Boys 1-2 All Star game. The North squad outlasted the South with a 112-98 win. Congratulations to all our 1-2 Boys All Stars!

In our second game of the day, the 1-2 North boys will be taking on the 1-2 South Action has just begun.

In our first All-Star game of the day, the 1–2 North brought the hammer with a decisive 106 - 76 victory over the South. Great effort out there by all of these awesome young women!
