How Detection K9’s Work: - Imprint target odor, Reward/Repeat - K9 detects target odor, there’s a “behavior change” followed by “problem solving”to locate odor source. - K9 jumps up window; heat is lifting it up. That’s “obedience to odor.” Notice tail & sniffing types.
Really good K9 Teams. I met some of them at a presentation I was giving and have seen them work. It’s remarkable that they’re a non-profit team of volunteers who are highly credentialed. Neighbors helping neighbors
