Who’s he trying to fool, us or himself? Is he surrounded by sycophants too spineless to say “neigh” or has he convinced himself that ignorance is strength? How does a head that deep in the sand still mumble platitudes with such confidence?
Is Cyril Ramaphosa living under a rock. The US sanctioning are incoming and he is oblivious to them.
Having any emotion for a billionaire is a red flag. Worship or hatred, both say more about you than them.
Hating billionaires is a very reliable red flag. It's an excellent tell that someone is overconfident *and* poorly informed.
They were a "nett" good, until they decided the mission was to re-educate their audience instead of report to them. You can’t build trust while pathologising half the internet. The stories mattered. Their sermons didn’t.
I still don’t think people realize the unfathomable blow to journalism we experienced with the implosion of digital media. Buzzfeed News, Gawker, Mic, Daily Dot, Vice, BI’s digital culture team, these outlets would do important, impactful stories that MSM editors refuse to touch

The early internet was a flat commons: GeoCities, IRC, Angelfire, Slashdot. No hierarchies, no gatekeepers. Protocols mattered, not platforms. A kid’s homepage sat beside MIT’s FTP like equals. Sites now geoblock countries. A VPN is needed to read a forum. Others sites vanish…
I never believe it’s really “for the children”. That’s always the excuse, just a cloak to censor, erase, and tighten control. If it truly were about protecting children, you would see something miraculous. Instead, they strip away rights and call it safety.
"Online age checks" ... because of the paedophiles @OfCom and @UKLabour, you now need to be 18 years old to see a photo of a building, or a car, or the weather. Paedophile loving @UKLabour #censorship of your free speech! @TVNaga01 #BBCBreakfast #BBCNews #GMB #SkyNews #GBNews
Calling them “nations” is "presentism", retrofitting modern political language onto a pre-contact world that never used it. It’s a clever way to smuggle in sovereignty claims, but historically, it’s just a semantic shell game.
"'First Nations' isn't even an Australian term. It's been adopted from Canada." Is Jacinta Nampijinpa right about this?
