If children are excluded for violence, I imagine any increased risk to them of violence is offset to some degree by the reduced risk of violence to the other pupils at their former school.

Reading that someone describes themselves as a 'full time non-violence trainer' reminds me of something I half-remember reading to the effect that the most violent humans are toddlers. Got me wondering if they're a parent of twin 2-year olds.
